Frequently asked questions
When can I start the theory lessons?
Any time. Theory runs Monday to Thursday and you can join at any point. Theory and driving lessons can run in parallel.
What language are the lessons in?
Lessons are taught in German only. Theory learning material can be obtained in many other languages on request.
What documents do I need to register?
For the Bürgeramt application: your driving school contract, a passport photo, an eye test, proof of a first-aid course, your ID or passport, your choice of test centre, and a fee of roughly €50.
Which test centres do you work with?
TÜV and DEKRA. Towards the end of your training we concentrate on practising in their test areas.
Can I bring my child along?
Yes. If there's nobody to look after your child, you're welcome to bring them. You can also start your training with us as an expectant mother.
Can someone ride along during a lesson?
Yes, an accompanying person may ride along in the car.
I have a licence but haven't driven in years.
We offer refresher lessons for exactly that — no test, just getting your confidence back.
Is there a faster option than several months?
Alongside the classic course we offer an intensive course, which can also run during the school holidays or your annual leave.
Where do the driving lessons start?
At Am Karl-Marx-Platz 17 in Neukölln. Lessons can also depart from Alt-Stralau in Friedrichshain.
Does the first consultation cost anything?
No. Just drop by during office hours. We also charge no fee for the theory pre-test or for certificates.
